A Cute Family

These are pictures of Kara's brother's family. We usually like to take pictures outdoors, but with their new baby they didn't want to be outside. So we decided to take their pictures in their home, which made these pictures a lot of fun because everyone was able to act more natural. We will definitely be doing more in-home photo shoots in the future.

A Study in Sepia

Sometimes sepia can make a picture look washed out, so with these pictures, we played around with them until the sepia looked really good. The first four pictures were taken at a family party. The other ones were taken spur-of-the-moment one day because our nephew and nieces are so cute, we just couldn't resist.

A Dance and Eight Cute Kids

These are pictures from Kara's niece's first winter formal. We had so much fun with these pictures. . . the girls loved it, and the boys were cooperative- what more could you ask for, right?

These pictures were taken at Kara's family Christmas party. Her sister needed updated pictures of her kids, and we had our camera there, so we decided to snap some quick pictures of them. We were excited at how cute they all turned out, especially since it wasn't a planned photo shoot.

Breaking in the New Camera

Last November, we were finally able to get a digital SLR camera. These are the first photographs that were taken with our new camera.

Welcome to Our New Blog

This blog is way over due in the making. We've got quite the collection of pictures built up already, so you'll be seeing lots of new posts in the next little while. We'll start by adding the oldest pictures first, and then we'll work up to the more recent ones until we're all caught up. We hope you love what you see.
